It’s a busy Culture Night for Butler Gallery in Kilkenny

For those involved in the arts, or those with any interest in the culture around them, Culture Night represents a brilliant opportunity to get out and explore your town, city, buildings you wouldn’t normally get to see, shows or bands you might not ever get a chance to hear and loads more besides.

For 2016, the Butler Gallery in Kilkenny have put together a programme of after-hours events inspired by Michael Snow’s exhibition, The Viewing of Six New Works. This exhibition examines the nature of perception and the physical relationship of the artwork to the viewer. Celebrate this exhibition with us and investigate the art of looking with a programme of discussions, sonic experiences and creative activities for people of all ages.

To find out about the programme, I caught up with Butler Gallery’s Bairbre-Ann Harkin for a chat about what they’ve got programmed for Friday 16 September.
