The first co-production between Devious Theatre and Central Arts heads for the stage this week with Niamh Moroney’s ‘Pulled’, directed by Ita Morrissey.

Pulled, the brand new show from author Niamh Moroney, arrives at Central Arts, Waterford this week before making its way to Set Theatre in Kilkenny at the end of the month.

The show appears as part of the Devious 10 programme of works, the third of three productions I’ve had a hand in producing for 2016.

It’s been a busy few weeks in the rehearsal room for Niamh Moroney and Andrea Bolger as Amanda and Michelle along with director Ita Morrissey as the show gets set to meet an audience for the first time. This will be Moroney’s second time out in a similar guise following in the footsteps of 2015’s YER WAN which played to great acclaim in venues around the country.

Telling the story of two girls dealing with a serious dose of ‘the fear’ after a heavy night on the town, Pulled is our first co-production (our as in Devious Theatre) alongside Central Arts and hopefully the start of something more to come. Tickets for Waterford can be found here while tickets for the Kilkenny show are available via

Having had a hand in some of the design and production elements, I can’t wait to see the finished article, hitting Central Arts from 13-17 September before heading home to Kilkenny for 29 September until 1 October.
