Nothing like taking a wander around a food festival with a camera on your back. Here’s some of the faces from 2016’s Savour Kilkenny in black and white.

The tenth edition of the Savour Kilkenny Food Festival (events here and here) got underway Friday evening with the Goatsbridge launch for Fishwives, but the real meat and bones of the festival takes place over Saturday and Sunday.

It’s here that The Parade in the heart of Kilkenny City shuts off from the Castle Road to the centre of town and converts to a food village for the weekend. Every manner of food trader can be found, and beyond that you’ve got demonstrations and talks happening from early morning to late evening.

From those talks and demos I’ve put together a few photos, specifically in black and white here.
