It’s funny what you find out walking, never did I know that there was a restriction on cutting important orchids in Kilkenny. Never even knew we grew them.
I’ve been doing a bit more on air with KCLR of late, a few trips to the studio today, this afternoon’s trip seeing me on air to discuss Pinterest, Facebook and mobile app security. As you do.
This is the first time I’ve seen this done locally, taken at Ragazzi Café it’s a cafe latte with the espresso in its own little pouring jug, served alongside a glass of steamed milk. Nice way to do things.
Despite there being over 11 million cups of Barry’s decaf tea consumed in Ireland last year, I didn’t actually know it existed or that you could get decaf tea. Head firmly pulled from under rock when this treat arrived in the post from Barry’s to the office today.
A morning cycle, followed by a morning walk in the park with the hounds is a sure fire way to clear the head before a day at the desk.
Hands down, two of the nicest bag of crisps on the Irish market at the moment. I don’t care much for the sweet chilli flavour but the cheese and onion are hard beat.
The new boardwalk running alongside the river Nore stretching back into Kilkenny city, a great new stretch to bring the dogs on.
On the hunt for a sandwich in town and in keeping with my objective of trying one new place a week for food in 2012, I stopped into Fresh (Pam’s Deli) on High Street, Kilkenny, for a bagel and at €3.60 toasted was not disappointed.
